Earlier this week,17-year-old Nahel Merzouk was shot by a police officer during a traffic stop in the Paris suburb of Nanterre. This scene is eerily similar to many played out over the last decade here in the United States. I am going to say a lot of names that we should not forget too quickly, and explain why Nahel Merzouk, despite living 4,775 miles (7,685 km) away, should be added to our list
