2015: A pregnant North Carolina mother fought off a rabid fox that tried to attack her and her 6-year-old in their front yard. Ashley Kotchetov used her son Alex’s book-bag to fight off the fox as they were attacked while walking to their car. Ashley said they barricaded themselves on top of their truck for about 15 minutes while the fox gnawed on her son’s book-bag.
