Stephen Amell spent some time last weekend condemn the SAG-AFTRA strike at GalaxyCon in North Carolina. While he said he supports his union, the strike itself was limiting his ability to promote the second season of his current show Heels because actors are not permitted to promote “struck work”. I don’t exactly take Amell to task, but I do give my views on why the strike is valid and need for the actors and writers (even if it sucks for consumer viewers) right now.
