MISSOURI STATE HIRES BOBBY PETRINO AS HEAD COACH
The announcement comes after rumors swirled Tuesday night that Missouri State was considering hiring disgraced Baylor coach Art Briles. Petrino has not coached since he was fired in November 2018 after getting off to a 2–8 start to with Louisville. Petrino led the Cardinals to a bowl game in each of the previous four seasons. Petrino, who also coached Louisville from 2003–06, was a controversial hire when he returned to the school in 2014. He had been fired by Arkansas for having an affair with his assistant. A motorcycle crash in April 2012 exposed their relationship and a later investigation detailed that the then 51-year-old Petrino and and 25-year-old Jessica Dorrell were intimate for approximately five months. Petrino’s season with the Atlanta Falcons also ended abruptly as he resigned in 2007 to become the Razorbacks’ head coach less than 24 hours after promising owner Arthur Blank he was staying in Atlanta. He informed his players of his departure via a four-sentence note left in each of their lockers.

BOSE IS CLOSING ALL OF ITS RETAIL STORES IN NORTH AMERICA, EUROPE, JAPAN, AND AUSTRALIA
Bose opened its first physical retail store in 1993 and currently has locations in many shopping centers and the remaining malls scattered across the US. SANDERS CAMP ADMITS ANTI-WARREN SCRIPT WAS DEPLOYED IN MULTIPLE EARLY STATES
Volunteers and staffers used the script on Saturday while canvassing for votes, meaning the talking points were more official than what Sanders previously suggested after POLITICO reported on the language. Thee campaign pulled back the script — which described Warren’s appeal as limited to the highly educated and financially well off — later on Saturday after the story published. Sanders initially appeared to blame the controversy on rogue employees. The script mostly focused on Sanders’ ability to beat President Donald Trump in a general election. But one page included attacks on the electability of Warren, as well as Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg.

GRINDR AND OKCUPID SPREAD PERSONAL DETAILS, STUDY SAYS
Grindr, the world’s most popular gay dating app, transmitted user-tracking codes and the app’s name to more than a dozen companies, essentially tagging individuals with their sexual orientation, according to the report, which was released Tuesday by the Norwegian Consumer Council, a government-funded nonprofit organization in Oslo. Grindr also sent a user’s location to multiple companies, which may then share that data with many other businesses, the report said. When The New York Times tested Grindr’s Android app, it shared precise latitude and longitude information with five companies. The researchers also reported that the OkCupid app sent a user’s ethnicity and answers to personal profile questions — like “Have you used psychedelic drugs?” — to a firm that helps companies tailor marketing messages to users. The Times found that the OkCupid site had recently posted a list of more than 300 advertising and analytics “partners” with which it may share users’ information.
